The Nation Media group has come out to clear the air on the ongoing report that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision had flagged 9200 votes wrongly from Kisumu West Constituency in favour of the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga mainly from his competitor Dr William Ruto.
This news according to many was captured on the Nation and therefore the team has come out to clear the air.
According to the Nation, such news are false and that they have not reported anything of such. "Beware of fake news! If it's not on our official social media pages, it's fake" the statement reads.
This comes as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commision is in process of tallying all the presidential results from all the constituencies at Bomas of Kent before declaring the next president elect to the public. The IEBC has untill Tuesday to announce the president elect.
