Big Win For Machakos County As The Government Takes This New Great Move In Mavoko Town, Machakos

Construction of more affordable housing units in different parts of the country was one of the big agendas that His Excellency President William Ruto promised Kenyans during his campaigns. The Head of State has fulfilled this promise by initiating construction of housing units in different counties in Kenya. Machakos county is one of the counties that has benefited from President Ruto's multi-billion housing unit projects.

Today, President Ruto toured Mavoko sub-county, Machakos county where he launched a mega billion project involving construction of more than 5,000 housing units.

The Head of State was accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary for Lands and Housing Zakariah Njeru, Machakos county governor Wavinya Ndeti, Kitui county governor Julius Malombe, Machakos Senator Agnes Kavindu, Mavoko constituency MP Mr. Patrick Makau among other community and religious leaders.Construction of the modern housing units in Mavoko town is a game changer for Machakos county. The project is going to be a big win for Machakos county residents. According to President Ruto, the transformative plan goes beyond provision of affordable housing to presenting job opportunities for gainful employment and wealth creation to millions of people striving to put food on the table.
