The upcoming August general elections is a two horse race where the second in command deputy president William Ruto and his opposition leader Hon. Raila Odinga continue to haunt for votes in several parts of the country. Some few days ago, Hon. Raila Odinga picked NARC Kenya party leader Hon. Martha Karua as his running mate while DP Ruto picked Hon. Rigathi Gachagua.

However, Peter Kenneth who was one of the most preferred running mate candidates for Raila Odinga has predicated the number of votes Hon. Raila Odinga will scoop from Mt. Kenya region ahead of the polls.

According to Peter Kenneth, Raila Odinga will enter State House with 65% of Mt. Kenya votes. Raila Odinga's choice of picking a strong woman Hon. Martha Karua as his running mate is actually a big win for him as he will he in a position to get more voted from Mt. Kenya region.
