Shape of The National Assembly and The Senate of Kenya So Far

General elections for the six elective seats took place last week on Tuesday and so far results for all the elective seats with exception of the presidential one has been announced with all Kenyans eyes on the independent electoral and boundaries as results are set to be out at 3 P.M.

The national assembly and that of senate are also of essence to the country, in the latest numbers, Azimio One Kenya Alliance have the most numbers in the national assembly, they gave 162 members of parliament followed by the Kenya Kwanza Alliance who have 159 members of parliament. In the senate, Kenya Kwanza have 24 senators followed by Azimio with 22 senators and one independent senator.

United Democratic Alliance has 137 MPs, 85 for ODM, Jubilee 28, Wiper 24, 13 independent members of parliament, ANC 7, 6 for Ford Kenya, 5 for DAP-K, 5 for KANU, 5 for UDM, 5 for PAA, 2 for MCC, 2 for UPIA, 2 for TSP and Movement for democracy and growth, UPA, GDDP, CCM, NOPEU, UDP and DP have one MP each.
