The oath-taking of their relatives took place today, and former vice president kalonzo musyoka and Ida odinga, the wife of former prime minister raila odinga, are currently in Tanzania to witness it.
Following a competitive nomination process that took place at the Senate and Parliament buildings, Kennedy Musyoka and Winnie Odinga were elected to the East African legislative assembly, opening its doors to Kenya's members of parliament.
The Azimio Coalition, made up of a number of parties that merged prior to the national election, is represented by the two leaders Winnie odinga and Kennedy musyoka.
The two leaders have sworn to represent the Republic of Kenya in the East African Legislative Assembly, which is located in Tanzania, along with the other seven who also took the oath of office today. Since Raila is in the United States of America for a meeting, he was absent from the action.
