According to Manyora, Ruto has managed to woo most Kenyans to his side since he has approached them with a message of hope, including promises to revive the economy, create jobs for the youths and empower small and medium businesses.
Through his You Tube Channel on Wednesday, the University of Nairobi lecturer supports a view of former CJ Mutunga that the DP can defeat his main challenger the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga if polls were conducted today.
He however adds that the huge crowds the DP is commanding during his rallies might be hard to maintain since there is still much time left, and not all presidetial aspirants had started their campaigns.
"Ruto's wave across the country is not fake. It is real, everyone in this country can feel it. He has the numbers which don't lie, the hustler nation is everywhere across the country. We are in a sorry state, there is hopelessness and therefore when a leader comes with hope, he gets followers," posed Manyora.
