According to the reports given by Wanjigi, he said that he was in his office before the armed men came and allegedly asked him to go with them at the police station for him to allegedly write a statement over what he claimed he didn't know. In his own words, Wanjigi said that he refused to go with them after his lawyers Intervened.

"I was in my office before they came in, they started asking for Alot of things which I did not have at the moment, I asked them why they came into my office but none of them said anything. One later told me to accompany them to the police station but I refused since I didn't know who they were. As far as I'm concerned, I think that this happened due to the fact that I made my political stand a few days ago. But I want to let them know that I won't give up", he said.

While reacting to this incident, kenyans who took to their different social media accounts to express their opinions and suggestions on the matter have called upon the inspector General of police, Hillary Mutyambai to conduct an investigation in order to find out what happened or why this happened at night.

According to the reports given by most Kenyans, they claimed that it is so unfortunate that the government is yet to address this issue despite the fact that Alot of people are currently being attacked by a group of people who claim to be working for police officers only for them to dissappear for good.
