"Even with the SIGNATURE launch there is still a real chance at CONSENSUS for a NON-DIVISIVE referendum that will give Kenyans the opportunity to EXPRESS themselves without an US versus THEM, WIN versus LOSE contest.UNITY is the STRENGTH needed to fight COVID19 and organise the ECONOMY, " reads Deputy President's facebook post.

Here are reactions from Kenyans concerning William Ruto's post:

Antony Manyara:You’re part of the handshake, on Uhuru’s side. It has since dawned to you that opposing a document that you’ve been part and parcel of, from the onset, is a complete mockery to patriotism especially before a staring, ailing nation.Thank you for doing what is right. Kenya Moja. Choosing Unity over Division.

Francis Achesa:They have already shut the door and i agree with the President human being they have short life but Kenya will never come to the END..amendments of constitution will continue after BBI so far,you want CONSENSUS on what you were opposing why can you continue opposing with NO,,don't FEAR this two gentlemen.

Edwin Obonyo:It's also within our democratic rights to have a contested referendum. So stop telling us about possibility of having a win win or non contested referendum ong'er.
