"I Will be Consulting My Party Members" Martha Karua Comments on Narc's Decision to Form Coalitions

Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua has stated that she will be consulting with her party members across the country on which political side to engage with ahead of the August elections.

Addressing the press on Wednesday after having a meeting with Laikipia West delegates in Nyahururu, Karua said that she will make her decision after engaging with her party members as she tours different parts of the country.

According to a report by Citizen TV, the vocal politician further urged those seeking elective positions to shun from divisive politics, also calling upon Mount Kenya Region to remain united.

"We will be holding meetings in order to agree on the direction we will take. The decision must lie with the people, as leadership it is only fair to have consultation with the people," said Karua.

Her remarks comes at a time when speculations have been going on whether she will be joining Raila Odinga's Azimio La Umoja, or she will join Musalia Mudavadi, Moses Wetangula in working together with Deputy President William Ruto.

She has however dismissed claims of joining either of the two sides.
