Uhuru Allegedly Gives Up On Uniting Opposition Leaders And Influencing His Succesion

President Uhuru Kenyatta has reportedly given up on uniting the One Kenya Alliance Principals and Orange Democratic Movement party boss Raila Odinga ahead of 2022.

The head of state is said to have also given up on influencing his Succesion has he had hinted at. The move is said to be after the collapse of the building bridges Initiative. According to a local publication People daily, the president has been angered by politicians from the mount Kenya region who he feels betrayed him by opposing the building bridges Initiative which intended to change the constitution.

The president who had promise to leave the Mount Kenya region on safe hands has reportedly decide to leave the people to decide on who will succeed him in 2022, according to the publication, the head of state does not talk of his Succesion anymore.

The president is said to be focusing on achieving his agenda before he retires in 2022. He is reportedly planning to tour the Mount Kenya region to talk to the people directly.

Uhuru had indicated that he would influence his succesion, he also tried to unite Raila Odinga with Gedion Moi, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi, and Moses Wetangula ahead of 2022 to reduce chances of Ruto ascending the presidency.
