Blow to Ruto After The Senate Passed The Political Parties Amendment Bill

The political parties amendment bill has been under house listening for some time now and it has led to some misunderstandings among various parties. While in the National Assembly, it was passed with the majority supporting it and this saw DP Ruto lose to ODM leader Raila Odinga.

Ruto however said that in the senate the bill will not pass since he has a strong team their. Today he was however by Raila for the second time after the members of the house voted in favor of the bill. The vote results has not pleased DP Ruto since he had so much issues against the bill.

Having gone through all the procedures of law making, the bill is now at its last stages where President Uhuru will assent it to become law. This is a big win for Raila and his team since they are the one who proposed it in Parliament in the first place.
