DCI officer tortured and killed and his body dumped at Kolol while on official duty

The ongoing assassinations in the country and dumping of bodies by unknown people has been on the rise in the country. Human rights activists are now threatening to go to courts if the issue is not addressed with urgency as the political season in the country slowly gains momentum.

A director of criminal investigation officer stationed in Embu branch identified as Abudulahim was found dead three days after while on official duty. His family members highlighted that they were informed of his existence in Iten Mortuary hospital where they were able to immediately indentify him. They were keen to note that his hands and legs were tied with bruises all over his body.

His wife was keen to note that those who wanted him dead tortured him before execution and later dumped his body in Kolol. She was keen to note that she spoke to him three days before he was executed
