It was recently claimed that president Uhuru Kenyatta is planning a crucial meeting with Hon. Raila Odinga. This meeting comes two days after the ODM chief allegedly sent a delegate to DP Ruto on forming an alliance. Could this mean that Uhuru, One Kenya Alliance and his close allies like Murathr have panicked?
Uhuru has always shown his support for the One Kenya Alliance and he has shown shifted any plan of endorsing Raila or Ruto. The formation of alliances has caused tension in the country as the 2022 tag of war intensifies. Recently, it has been reported on the Sunday Nation that the Makueni governor, Kivutha Kibwana has shifted his attention from the 'Deep State' and the 'System' to put his blame on tribal politics and choices ahead of the 2022 elections. It is said that the tribal choices should be blamed for Kenya's woes.
Is it justifiable to blame the tribal and regional politics for Kenya's problems or could this be an escape avenue for the serious crisis facing the nation? What can save Kenyans from the turbulent political landscape?
