THE RETIREMENT OF PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA
His excellence Mr Uhuru Kenyatta has served a 10- year tenure as the 4th president of the republic of Kenya from May 2013 to August 2022. After serving two terms as president,he will hand over the symbols of power to his successor and start enjoying his retirement. The Presidential Retirement Benefits entitled him to Ksh 34.7 million. This is his lump sum pension for the two terms served.
President Uhuru Kenyatta is also entitled to annual gratuity of over Ksh 72 million .The amount could also be increased to Ksh 79.2 million in the fiscal year 2024. His excellence Uhuru Kenyatta will enjoy his monthly house allowance of Ksh 332,063 ,his transport allowance of Ksh 216,563 and his entertainment allowance of Ksh 216,563 Which sums up to Ksh 765,189.
He will receive his utility payments of Ksh 300,000. President Uhuru Kenyatta will also receive full medical cover for him and his family members.
He will be assigned two personal secretaries,four secretaries ,four Messengers and fully furnished offices.
