Winnie Odinga, Sankok and Kalonzo Jnr Elected to the EALA by Senate, National Assembly Yet to Vote

The Senate house has this aftetnoon elected members who will seat at the East Africa Legislative Assembly(EALA) as National Assembly continues with the voting.

Those among elected are Winnie Odinga, the daughter of Opposition leader Raila Odinga, Kennedy Kalonzo, son of Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

Others include former nominated MP David Sankok, Fred Muteti , Zipporah kering,

Hassan Omar

Falhada Dekow

Winnipe Odinga 

Kennedy Musyoka

Suleiman shabbal 

Isiolo Senator Fatuma Gedi.

During the nominations period, Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Coalition nominated four out of nine slots allocated to Kenya.

Winnie Odinga, businessman Suleiman Shahbal, the party's Treasurer Timothy Bosire and former Shinyalu MP Justus Kizito,Kennedy Musyoka Jubilee Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni and Director of Elections Kanini Kega.

On the other hand, Kenya Kwanza Coalition picked Hassan Omar (former Mombasa senator), Zipporah Kering (former Nandi Woman Representative), David ole Sankok (former nominated MP), Fred Muteti (Former URP Secretary General), and Falhada Dekow (former nominated senator) as the final nominees for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
