His Excellency the deputy president of Kenya has tweeted saying ;
"The swearing in of Justice Martha Koome is a bright dawn delivering overdue justice and vindicates our collective aspiration to be a society founded on equality, inclusion and Constitutionalism. The more women at the helm of leadership the richer and fairer we are. It's BEAUTIFUL."
"Which equality,which inclusion ? When all Government appointments are controlled by one region. That position could at least gone to the coast region," Rasto Junior tweeted.
"For you they represent cosmetics and not efficiency at the helm?If you win the presidency, how will you respect the orders of a judiciary that you have already viewed as a beauty parade?"
"I like how you & the president are blackmailing @RailaOdinga to think that there are misunderstandings between you. Handshake has proven peace for Uhuru's last tenure, its time we now prove the "mimi kumi, Ruto kumi" narrative," replied Mr. Odongo
"Even after someone has been through so much hard work, a long deserving career with merit, a gruelling and public interview, all you see is gender. She has done this well because of her own hard work, not her gender."
And in any case, so that I can conclude, in any case we are now saying women and the participation of women in our governance, it doesn’t make us weaker it makes us stronger. It doesn’t makes us lesser it makes us great!
