Kiambu county is one of the county that is rich in votes. It is the second largest in the country behind Nairobi county. With over 1.2 million votes, that is a good number to the presidential candidate who will manage to add them in his basket. In the latest poll by all research group, they showed that Ruto is the most preferred in this county. It is due to search reasons that Raila and Karua have combined hands in seeking of votes Kiambu this Wednesday.
With just 35 days to the August 9 general election, Azimio appears to be on a charm offensive to counter UDA presidential candidate William Ruto's influence, particularly in the Mt Kenya region where the deputy president enjoys a large following, Kiambu county being one of them.
All their rallies will be live streamed on Azimio TV channel and Raila Odinga Facebook page. They will be accompanied by other leaders in the camp.
