As the country is heading towards the August polls, more interested organisations are focusing more on the preparedness of the country for the activity as well as how political parties are preparing themselves.
According to reliable Orange Democratic Movement Party reports, the International Republican Institute team visited the Chungwah House where they had an engagement with the party's executive director.

The reports claim that Mr Ongwen held the consultative meeting with the International Republican Institute team as they are interested on the Preparedness of Kenya for the August polls.
"Our Executive Director, Mr Ongwen today held a meeting with the International Republican Institute (IRI) team on the status of Electoral Preparedness in Kenya. He was accompanied by the Legal and Parliamentary Liaison Officer @MoturiTony and National Elections Board (NEB) Secretary Hon. Abdullahi Diriye." The Orange Democratic Movement Party confirmed.
