Mathira member of parliament Rigathi Gachagua has today insisted that mount Kenya people think in a certain way adding that if the elections were held today the deputy party William Ruto will sweep the mountain as all factors will be constant in the next ten months.
During an interview with K24 television,Gachagua added that people who speak for the people of mount Kenya are the people who were elected,"I speak for the people of Mathira,same way Alice is speaking for the people of Kandara.These other people are speaking for their groups, not mount Kenya" Gachagua added.
He said that politics is about interests and as the people of mount Kenya the leaders have been discussing their interests with their preffered presidential candidate and they want the economic interest of mount kenya people to be taken care of.
Gachagua called upon all leaders to listen to everybody.He said that there was a need for everyone to be given a chance to speak their mind.
He further dismissed Martha Karua as the spokesperson for mount Kenya adding that people who speak for the people of Kenya are mandated to do so in an election.
