Musalia Mudavadi Opens Up On Why He Will Not Attend Azimio La Umoja Meeting Despite Being Invited

Tomorrow will be a great day for the followers of Raila Odinga as he will be announcing his 2022 presidential ambition.

Several leaders drawn from all corners of our republic have been invited to the meeting that will kick off as early as 9 am tomorrow.

Leaders from abroad who cannot make into the mega ODM meeting tomorrow have been urged to attend the meeting virtually.

However, according to the latest reports making a rounda on social media, Musalia Mudavadi has emerged as one of the leaders invited to attend the azimio la umoja meeting.

Mudavadi confirmed that he has been invited in the capacity of being the ANC party leader and not as being one of the OKA principals.

Musalia, however, has stated that he would not attend the azimio la umoja meeting tomorrow because he has other engagements to do on that day.

He further wished Raila the best on his day as he plans to make a crucial announcement about his 2022 ambition. He added that his worthy competitor thus would not attend the meeting.

"I have just received an official invitation to the Azimio la Umoja Convention. As noted herein, the invitation was addressed in my personal capacity as ANC Party Leader and not OKA Principal.Regrettably, I will not be able to attend because of personal engagements. Raila Odinga is a worthy competitor, I wish him well because tomorrow will clearly be his day in the sun," Musalia said.
