Kenya is set to hold it's General Election on 9 August 2022, which will see changes in various political seats held by Politicians. As the political temperatures for the slated general elections continue rising, leaders from the Kamba community are seemingly awakening from a perceived political slumber. The community is now set to position itself to the much hyped and slated elections to form the next government.
During Deputy William Ruto empowerment programme for traders in Machakos town, Machakos County., section of local community leaders led by Machakos Town Member of Parliament Hon Dr Victor Munyaka, Mwala Member of Parliament Hon Vincent Musyoka and Member of Parliament for Kitui East Hon Nimrod Mbai have constantly defied the odds and have continued rallying support for Deputy President Hon William Samoei Ruto.
Ruto was accompanied by a section of Mt Kenya leaders including Rigathi Gachagua who is the current Member of Parliament, where the Hon Ruto intensified his plans to empower Kenyans through the bottom-up, middle-out economic model by focusing on real issues that he claims will improve the lives of Kenyans. The DP further requested Leaders to desist from politics that is guided by hate, division and empty rhetoric and anchor their issues on development.
