The Kisumu Shipyard was toured by President William Ruto who inspected the ongoing construction of the Wagon Ferry and upon its commissioning, it will enable transport & the cross-border trade in the East African region.

The Ferry has been under construction since the tenure of Uhuru Kenyatta who has launched it and it's expected that it will be completed soon and hit the road.
