What Kindiki Did After Arriving Unannounced In Gov't Office In Low Key Motorcade Dressed In a Cap

Ministry of interior and national administration cabinet secretary Prof Kithure Kindiki has seemingly hit the ground running in his new assignment if the activities of the last couple of days are anything to go by.

The powerful cabinet secretary has seemingly the mastered the art of orchestrating impromptu visits to government offices and getting officials there unawares, just like he did recently at the Mtwapa chief's office in Kilifi County.

As The Star reports, Prof Kithure Kindiki stormed the immigration office moments ago in a very low profile motorcade, one that is not synonymous to a powerful government official.

Kindiki who was dressed in a cap visited the immigration office then the went inside Nyayo house and engaged in discussions with kenyans who were there to be served.

He them went ahead to hold a meeting with the deputy director of immigration and discussed some of the challenges the department is facing. He promised to find a long lasting solution.

"The government will look into the bottlenecks behind the delays and implement the relevant solutions in line with its commitment to promote efficiency in the delivery of essential services to citizens," he said
