Sugoi is the village home of Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto. This explains why DP William Ruto is at times referred to as the boy from Sugoi. He has never been shy to invite politicians, leaders and even some voters in his Sugoi residence once he visits the place. DP William Ruto will be trying to succeed the retiring incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta in the fourth coming general elections to be held in August this year.
The Orange Democratic Movement party Director of Communications Philip Etale has publicly slammed DP William Ruto's ally. According to Philip Etale, he told the former Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale that it's because he thinks he knows much that's why he will remain in Sugoi to continue washing dishes.
"Kiherehere hii yako ndiyo imefanya you will continue washing dishes pale Sugoi na kujificha kwa choo huko Karen." Tweeted by the Orange Democratic Movement party Director of Communications Philip Etale
