History Made in Githurai After Thousands of Netizens Block Ruto's Convoy, Force to be Addressed

Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday made a stop over in Githurai, Kiambu County after attending a church service in Kieni Constituency, Murang'a County.

Ruto who has been firm on his presidential race was forced to address thousands of Githurai residents who were awaiting him, with roads being blocked, and businesses coming to standstill.

The residents chanted 'Ruto, Ruto, and UDA, UDA,' with placards written 'Ruto 2022, Hustler Nation,' giving Ruto's guards a hard time in maintaining order.

While addressing the residents, Ruto assured the residents that businesses will be revived, and the ordinary citizen will make the next government, banking that their grievances will be sorted out through the bottom-up economic model.

Ruto was accompanied by Kiambaa MP John Wanjiku, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Issac Mwaura, Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah, Kiambu Woman Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba among others.

All his allies called upon the residents to support Ruto in 2022, arguing that it will be a government of the people for the people.
