ODM leader Raila Odinga on Saturday toured Bungoma County where he attended a burial ceremony.
On the other hand, Deputy President William Ruto attended a function in Nakuru where the area Senator Susan Kihika had organized a group of delegates for deliberations on the future of the UDA party as well as talks on Kihika's bid for governor's seat.
After the two functions, Raila and Ruto who are deemed front runners for the Presidency held rallies at the two counties towns.
According to pictures shared by the two political sides, the two leaders received a heroic welcome as their supporters thronged to their rallies.
One could easily tell that the two, are in all appearances poised for a tough battle in the 2022 polls.
It is important to note that Raila's visit comes few weeks after the DP visited the county to campaign for his bid and also urge the area residents to join his UDA party.
