Narc Kenya party leader Hon Martha Karua was a busy person on Thursday. The vocal iron lady kicked off her day by attending a prayer breakfast meeting at Safari Park Hotel where she was accompanied by other national leaders such as President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President Dr. William Samoei Ruto.
She then took a flight to Nyandarua county where she popularized Azimio la Umoja movement to residents. She was accompanied by pro handshake leaders and Azimio la Umoja leaders in the region such as Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Hon Peter Munya, Governor Kimemia, and other Jubilee party aspirants.
Martha Karua tour to Nyandarua county was a smooth one for the better part of the day. His second visit to Nyandarua county was not hostile compared to the first time that she kicked off her Mt Kenya tour.
According to the video clip that has gone viral on social media platforms, the Azimio la Umoja crew was however heckled during the evening hours in Nyandarua county. According to the video, residents could be heard chanting Ruto's name as aspirants tried to pass Azimio's message to residents.
Karua was picked as Raila Odinga's running mate to bring a huge chunk of Mt Kenya votes to Azimio la Umoja basket. All attention will focus on her to see if she will succeed in the upcoming August elections.
