The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Saturday had the opportunity of engaging with youth from Naivasha and Gilgil at Lakeview Ward as he popularizes his Unity call through the 'Azimio La Umoja' initiative.
He later addressed the residents at Naivasha with a woman hawker selling fish reached to his convoy.
Raila could not resist supporting the hustle, and is captured on camera holding one of them.
Through his Twitter page, Raila used the Sheng language to claims that the woman convinced him that Naivasha sourced fish are delicious.
"Fish ya Odhumo na Naivasha, gani bie? Madha anadai za Naivasha ndo poa!"
This attracted mixed reactions from his followers, some claiming that the admin of Raila's page was working to link up with the youth who in most cases use such language, while others dismissed him claiming that the move was one of the tricks used by politicians to woo supporters when election period set in.
Here some of the reactions;
@DorynMarl: Who is the admin?
@FelixWeber001: Whoever is managing this account nowadays .
@Grauchy254: For a minute i got myself thinking did Naivasha start a new unknown language
@_fels1: Drama festival is on. All the best in your job search, Amollo.
