In the Transzoia Gubernatorial race,MP Chris Wamalwa,George Natembeya and UDA aspirant Kakai Bisau are the most preferred candidates. In the polls conducted in early January,Chris Wamalwa was the most preferred candidate.
The opinion polls were carried out in Transzoia County which revealed that most of the residents prefer Ford Kenya members than any other political party. This is the main reason why most people voted for Chris Wamalwa.Chris had 39.1 percent.
The regional commissioner who is a member of DAP-K was second with 34.2 percent. At the third position was the UDA aspirant,Kakai Bisau who had 10.3 percent.
According to the research,if elections were to be carried out today,Chris Wamalwa will be the Transzoia governor since he is in a political party that most residents prefer followed by Eugene Wamalwas' political party. In the political parties,Ford Kenya was the most preferred followed by DAP-K,ODM then UDA.
