Political blogger and digital strategist Pauline Njoroge, has alleged that recent behaviours by deputy president Rigathi Gachagua may force president Ruto to bypass him in allocation of critical roles and hand them over to Musalia Mudavadi.
Her remarks come just afew days after the president made allocations of state responsibilities to DP Gachagua, prime CS Musalia Mudavadi and Attorney general Justin Muturi. She has casted doubt of Gachagua having the face of good national standing and international standing.
"I would say Rigathi Gachagua is failing on two fronts, which may derail him and leave his boss no choice but to entrust Mudavadi with assignments he considers critical and close to his heart, assignments that may require the face of a statesman with a good national and international standing," she opined .
Pauline Njoroge has said that DP Gachagua seems not to have moved on from being in campaign mode. She has said he is always making statements which do not potray him as someone who is in government and is expected to lead the nation by offering solutions.
She has also alleged that the DP lacks a national appeal and seems to be unwilling to embrace his role as the principal assistant to the head of state.Pauline bas wondered why he is so much obssesed with talks surrounding the Mt Kenya region all the time.
"He has refused to move his mind beyond the sphere of a Mathira MP. The guy lacks national appeal and he seems unable or unwilling to embrace his role as the Principal Assistant to the Head of STATE. He is always on Mt. Kenya this, Mlima that.Surely," she wondered.
