The beautiful lady is Fatuma Mohammed. This lady is a definition of patience and a spirit of not giving up despite the heartbreaking moments defeated aspirants in elections go through. Fatuma vied to be the women representantive of Migori county in both 2013 and 2017 elections but she lost.

Fatuma never gave up. She then pronounced her bid for Migori women representation in the National Assembly in 2022 elections. In party primaries, she was denied the ODM party ticket and it was given to Dennitah Ghati who was the Migori woman rep in 2013 to 2017. She felt bad and decided to vie as an independent candidate. She even went to the point of selling her house worth sh25 Million to fund her campaigns.

Fatuma is now the new women representative for Migori county who garnered a total of 154,538 votes beating all the two incumbent women reps and other three opponents. Indeed it was a dream that became a reality. Congratulations to her.
