ODM leader, Hon. Raila Odinga today continued with his quest to drum up support for his presidential bid in Nyahururu town in Laikipia County. He met different groups including the youth and leaders. Raila brought the town to a standstill as he drummed support for Azimio la Umoja. His grand entry to the town and county made many Kenyans shout 'Raila Tosha'.
He first attended a church service at AIC Naivasha by joining the joyful charismatic congregation. He also quoted the Bible verse, Romans 15:4 that says "For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."
However, he held a rally at Nyahuru and he made these remarks, "Mabeshte wa Nyahururu asanteni kwa kutokelezea kwa wingi, niwewaskia. Tutasonga Mbele Pamoja. Nītūgūcoka rīngī!" His remarks made many Kenyans to react some claimed, that is a slogan that belongs to Ruto he should drop and look for another. Others praised Uhuru Kenyatta and said that he is a leader who stands for what is right. They asked who that this could happen in Central Kenya?
Some Kenyans claimed that Raila will be out for a rude shock as that is Ruto’s bedroom. Others said that he has finished Ruto’s ambitions and send him to the drawing board. Others said, "Nyahururu has sent the message to tell the bottom up guys that they are not ready for wheelbarrows." Others said that, "Azimio La Umoja, not the nonsense of so called tribal bottom up economy!"
