In a speech delivered today on the Wednesday of March 3rd from Tsangalameni primary school in Ganze constituency of Kilifi county, the Kilifi Governor Amazon Kingi took a moment to passionately talk about what is actually going on at the Coast with regards to politics.
The boldly speaking Kingi didn't hide anything from the former Prime Minister to make him feel excited but rather chose to say the truth touching on BBI and the quest to have a political party representing the people of the Coast region.
Kingi said that it's good MCAs from the coast counties passed BBI giving it an opportunity to progress into the next stage but he warned that there's much work to be done at the Coast especially if what he has observed is a reflection of what the Coast people are discussing.
That "even after BBI passing in our county assemblies, the surprising truth is that nearly all the social media forums at the Coast are occupied with something else other than BBI.
The discussions in those social media forums are mainly about a party that'll represent the people of the Coast and nothing else. A party seem to be a priority of these Coast people na naona tusipokuwa makini, BBI itakuwa number mbili."
After saying that, Kingi surprisingly took a moment to blast those who are saying that the coming together of various parties of the Coast region like KADU-Asili, Shirikisho and RC is a threat to national unity.
That he's seen parties like Wiper and NARC from Ukambani showing signs of coming together without objection same to ANC and Ford Kenya from Western yet when those parties of the Coast come together for an alliance that'll seek better partners at the national arena, it's said that they are a threat to national security.
