President Uhuru Arrives In Rwanda For Commonwealth Heads Of Government Meeting

This is the first time the commonwealth members are now meeting since 2028. This comes after the 2020 and 2021 meetings were postponed due to the COVID 19 pandemic which would not allow countries to continue with thier usual activities.

The first in command his excellency president Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday Thursday arrive at Kigali convention center in Rwanda for the mentioned meeting which was scheduled to be conducted on Sunday 26th this month June 2022.

The major reason behind this meeting is to enhance unity and peace among the 54 member countries since they keep sharing knowledge and exchange ideas on what is the best for the country development.

Rwanda's president Paul Kagame received Kenyan president. He was accompanied with his great team, among them were commonwealth secretary general Patricial Scotland, Foreign affairs Cs Raychelle Omamo and the Kenya's high commissioner to United Kingdom Manoah Esipisu.

The theme of the meeting is Delivering a common future; connecting, innovating and transforming.
