Emurua Dikirr member of parliament and a firebrand DP Ruto defender Johanna Ng'eno has equated the Deputy President's presidential ambitions to David from the Bible. MP Johanna Ng'eno has argued that just like David was uplifted from a herder, the DP will also win the presidency from being a hustler.
Johanna Ng'eno was speaking during a church gathering attended by the DP Ruto himself in Murang'a county. Further, the MPs comments emerge just a day after DP Ruto claimed that his political competitors are ganging against him to scuttle his presidential bid. However, the DP has reiterated his steadfastness in achieving his goals.
Further, the DP has used church platforms and biblical connotations to describe his political journey. Therefore, MP Johanna Ng'eno's remarks are just a reflection of his political master. The Dap will continue using the church and Bible to campaign for support from Christians which forms the majority in the country.
