"Baba Unakaa Rais” Kenyans Hail Raila Following His Noble Remarks Shortly After Mashujaa Celebration

The Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga has left many Kenyans talking following his latest remarks after attending the Mashujaa Day Celebrations. Kenyans have camped on his social media pages with praises as most people hailed him as a hero on this historic day. This year's Mashujaa Day was held in Wakungu Stadium in Kirinyaga County. Many dignitaries from other countries, including the Malawian President, graced the colorful occasion.

Among the national leaders who attended the celebration were His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta, the former Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga, Kisumu County Governor Anyang Nyong'o, Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru, KANU party leader Gideon Moi, Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Deputy President William Ruto and other leaders.

Shortly after the event, the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Raila Odinga took to his official social media pages and penned a powerful message to Kenyans. The former Prime Minister stated that the country's founding fathers and fallen heroes played key roles in the achievement of independence. He reiterated that they deserve collective adoration and recognition for the sacrifices they made.

Raila added that Kenyans should all emulate their heroic deeds for a better future. Here is the post by the former PM:

“Those who played various roles and sacrificed for Kenya's sake deserve our collective adoration and recognition. We should emulate the selfless deeds of heroes in our nation, both past, and present, and collectively strive to be the heroes of tomorrow. Happy Mashujaa Day!” Raila Odinga posted on his Facebook page.
