The Standard Media Group has confirmed that Deputy President William Ruto will appear in an exclusive interview dubbed "WILLIAM RUTO TOWNHALL" with KTN News this week.

From the poster shared by Standard Digital, the interview will be moderated by Sophia Wanuna and Zubeida Koome and will be held on Thursday, July 7, from 7pm.

The DP and his team have been accusing a section of the Kenyan media companies of biasness in their political news coverage.
About a month ago, Ruto's Presidential Campaign Secretariat announced that the DP might miss this year's Presidential Debate citing unprofessional journalism. The Nation, Mediamax, and Royal Media Services are some of the media companies mentioned in the statement released by Ruto's head of communication, Hussein Mohamed.
Recently, Kenya Kwanza leaders castigated the Nation concerning their article which explained how the DP allegedly almost slapped President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 after the nullification of the then presidential election.
