That is getting the full support from elders of Mount Kenya Region who have assured him of their full support until he succeed in his top political ambition he has been fighting for in a long time.
This is something which can never been taken for granted as we all know the kind of impact elders have in the national politics especially when it comes to leading their communities to the way and person of choice whom they believe would serve their people well.
And so Raila getting this support is coming as a major boost to his political bid. This will be now for the first time in history since he started the political journey to the top seat that he will be have the full support and blessings of elders from the vote rich region.
Besides the political support to Raila, the elders led by their Chairman Wachira Kiago have also pledged to strengthen the bond between the two communities which have been in rivalry for long. That is the bond between Luos and Kikuyus.
