Today in the afternoon, the ODM party under the leadership of the former prime minister, hon Raila Odinga and the Azimio La Umoja at large have been handed something to celebrate of. This came in after reports emerged that they have won their first gubernatorial seat in Riftvalley region which is one of the Dp Ruto's strongholds.
As reported by the Star News, the Orange party has won the Turkana county's gubernatorial race through their Candidate, hon Jeremiah Lomurkai. This race were being contested by three rivals, namely hon John Munyes of the Jubilee party and hon John Lodebe of UDA party. As we talk, hon John Munyes has already conceded the defeat.
"Former Cabinet Secretary John Munyes on Thursday conceded defeat and congratulated ODM Candidate Jeremiah Lomurkai.Munyes of Jubilee candidates, Lomurkai, and John Lodepe of UDA were battling to succeed Governor Josphat Nanok.The IEBC is yet to announce the official gubernatorial results, but Munyes has conceded defeat." Said the star news.
