" Listen to Gachagua" Khalwale Sends Message to Governor Sakaja

The Senator for Kakamega County Bonnie Khalwale has urged the governor of Nairobi County Johnson Sakaja to listen to the deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, especially on matters of how to deal with Matatus in town. The Senator is firm that Sakaja failure to listen to the deputy President might be costly in the future.

Khalwale has urged Sakaja not to move with speed and start arguments with the deputy President because he is not his equal. The deputy President has opposed Sakaja in his move to vacate Matatus from town.

Sakaja has vowed to move on with his programmes of evicting Matatus from town without looking back or listening to contrary opinion. He has vowed not to listen to anybody including the leaders a matter that's likely to complicate his work going into the future.

Sakaja believes that he has the support of the president and he requires no one else to implement his agenda in Nairobi County. It's obvious that going against Gachagua at at the moment can be a political miscalculation for the governor but he has chosen his path.
