Masks Off: DP Ruto Breaks COVID-19 Protocols as he Makes a Triumphant Landing in West Pokot(PHOTOS)

The deputy president Dr. William Ruto has today landed in Mosul, Kapenguria west sub count in west Pokot County where he is expected to launch various development projects, preside over an Harambe fundraiser for the Bodaboda operators in the region.

As seen in various photos shared through social media platforms, the second in command has made a Triumphant entry in Pokot where he has been received by a jubilant gathering who both Doned the United Democratic Movement party attires.

However, despite receiving a Heroic Welcome, the second in command did not observe the COVID-19 protocols leave alone holding a political gathering despite being banned by the ministry of health. As seen in the photos, no social distance was not observed at all as DP Ruto himself is seen mingling with the crowd without a face mask.

This comes after the government revised the curfew hours in Nyanza region after surge in COVID-19 Infections was reported in the region. The surge in the infection is linked with the politically gatherings president Uhuru Kenyatta, DP William Ruto and ODM party leader Hon Raila Odinga held in the region.
