Masibo has claimed that in as much as Ruto is determined to keep the rulling party members of Parliament united, the move can be viewed as an attempt by the executive to control the legislature which ubdermines the independence of Institutions.
He claims that the president's main aim is to see that his agenda easily sails through in the Parliament, hence an attempt to have a very close relationship with his members of Parliament.
He likened the president to former president the late Daniel Moi whom he claims used to call the eight provincial commissioners every morning and District commisioners randomly to get to know the challenges they were facing in their areas of jurisdiction.
This he says made Moi to have control of all the regions as his Officers kept informing him on the happenings.
