The country's top in command honourable President William Samoei Ruto has found himself on the spot after exercising powers delegated to the National Police Service Commission (NPSC) and also failing to follow the legal procedure during the appointment of Police Inspector General (IG) Japhet Koome.

According to remarks given by Dr Magare Gikenyi who serves as a Consultant Trauma, and General Surgeon, Ruto's decision was illegal and unconstitutional and therefore should face the law.
In that regards, he (Dr Magare) has therefore moved to court and has already filed a case to sue the head of state and Attorney-General Paul Kihara Kariuki over Koome’s alleged illegal nomination.
The news concerning the illegal appointment of IG Koome sprouted hours before he appeared at the Senate and national assembly vetting committee for interogation.
Do you agree with Dr Magare that Ruto should face the law? Share your thoughts on the comments section below as you continue to await for more updates.
