As Ruto was busy pitching tent in Pokot, one of his foot soldiers was also busy popularising his 2022 bid in Bungoma. From the images shared online, the grounds of the meeting was filled to capacity as he welcomed other he other leaders to the UDA family which has continued to grow in numbers.
Didmus Barasa who is among the key allies of Ruto and also seeking the Kimilili seat in the next poll, his mission is not only to have Ruto win the seat but also ensure that UDA clinches a majority of the seat in the region if not all the available seats in the Luhya community.
He has constantly ensured that the UDA dream is achieved through popularising the Ruto's presidency in the country. Those present vowing to also campaign and ensure that the party gets to grow in the region which had for long been perceived to be Raila's stronghold.
