what justice Juma Chitembwe Said During Today's Interview

Early today morning Judicial Service Commission have commenced interviewing candidates vetted in to replace the outgoing Chief Justice Maraga.In an interview judge Juma Chitembwe was among 10 candidates proposed to replace Maraga.

He was interviewed by 9 commissioners including acting chief justice Philomena Mwilu.He has been acting as a high court judge since 2010.

During interview, judge Juma Chitembwe Said that as a president of the court of justice,he will ensure the following:-

1.No new agenda in a period of first 60 days in the office.

2.Ensure all sociological aspects are followed properly.

3.Shall pick up from the outgoing Maraga.

4.Shall ensure decisions of bench should be purely based on law since we're here for fair justice to all.

5.Ensures judicial transformation continues as layed out.

6.Shall dispense justice priority by handling cases timely as per the constitution of Kenya.

After vetting process the nominees names will be sent to the president for approval in which the president shall forward names to the parliament.After vetting,the names will then be sent back to the president for approval.
