Singer Bahati, who is running for the Mathare parliamentary seat for the Jubilee party, spoke out after being chased out of an Azimio rally in Mathare, Nairobi County on Monday. He said he won't be intimidated by the severity of the abuse he received. On Tuesday, he announced it on his Instagram page.
Bahati declared that he will remain in the race until the very end and added that the people of Nairobi back him.
He also affirmed that God is with him and blamed Edwin Sifuna, the ODM secretary general, for his difficulties.
He claimed that after he arrived, Edwin Sifuna and other Leaders abruptly terminated the event, despite the masses' demands that he speaks. He added that he is fully engaged in the race and is not stepping aside for anyone.
