The 2022 General elections are looming with realignment of different parties being done.Some of the communities have started recognising they kingpins and leaders.The luhya community as been in front line being urged to unite before 2022 so that they will be recognised and for them to win.
On Sunday a south imenti mp Kathuri Murungi went on his social media to ask different opinions.Among his suggestion was the unity of meru community.The Mp argued that Meru got Numbers and one of they political leader should be appointed as a kingpin.The mp has being emphasising unity of purpose saying the it will help the merians to be recognised.
The Meru community has been part of Gema which comprises of Gikuyu Meru and Embu.The merians which include two counties Meru and Tharakanithi have argued of being sideline.
The potential mere kingpin as to people suggestion are agriculture cs Munya and Meru Governor Kiraitu Murungi.Netizens reacting to MPs post urged him to unite the two before appointing a kingpin.
