Ford Kenya Deputy Party Leader Mulls Working with ODM Says will Quit Ford after Talking to Wetangula

Kituyi Chache South legislator and Ford Kenya deputy party leader Richard Onyonka has revealed that he is weighing his options with joining ODM, one of the cards he is considering.

Onyonka was speaking on Citizen Television Day Break talk show in response to a question posed to him by the show host Sam Gituku about his political future.

Onyonka admitted that ODM is popular in Kisii and as a community, the Gusii are exploring possibilities of forming the political party that they can use to negotiate with ODM.

The former Assistant Minister added that he does not see his future in Ford Kenya and Kitutu Chache South. While defending himself and his choices, Onyonka said that all politics is regional, giving examples of the coast and central where regional leaders are forming parties to champion their interests.

Asked when he is leaving Ford Kenya, honourable Onyonka said he will first discuss the issue with his party leader Moses Wetangula.
