
Kenya Kwanza Alliance patron President William Ruto has today narrated how be confronted former President Uhuru Kenyatta two months ago.
While speaking about Uhuru, the president chose to tell his audience that he looked at him in the eye and asked him to continue with the peace talks for the East African Community which he agreed gracefully.
"The competition was stiff but after the election I met his excellency the president, I looked at him in the eye and told him Mr president you've started a very important process in EAC I would want you to continue that process. He told me he was ready to do it," said President Ruto.

According to him, Uhuru had his interests focused on ensuring peace in DRC and other parts of EAC is enhanced to the fullest
"Because of the interest of our continent and peace is important to Kenya, DRC and our region, president Kenyatta has done a wonderful job as he facilitates this process," added President Ruto.
