Raila Speaks After Supreme Court Ruling

The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Presidential Candidate Raila Amolo Odinga has finally spoken after the Supreme Court ruling.

Supreme Court upheld Ruto's Win in the just concluded polls.

In a statement on his social media page, Odinga says they have taken note of the decision of the Supreme Court on the Presidential election held on August 9th, 2022.

Odinga note that Azimio has always stood for the the rule of law and the constitution.

In this regard, he note that they respect the opinion of the court although the "vehemently disagree with their deecision today."

Odinga pointed out that Azimio’s lawyers proffered irrefutable evidence and the facts were on their side, unfortunately the judges saw it otherwise.

Odinga further say they find it incredible that the Supreme Court judges found against them on all nine (9) grounds and occasion resulted to unduly exaggerated language to throw out their claims.

"This judgement is by no means the end of our movement, in fact it inspires us to redouble our efforts to transform this country into a prosperous democracy where each and every Kenyan can find their full belonging." Odinga said in a statement.

He thanked his supporters and Kenyans across the country for standing with with him. Odinga has promised to communicate his future plans in the near future to continue the Azimio’s struggle for transparency, accountability and democracy.

Martha Karua on her party said: "the court has spoken. I respect but disagree with the findings"
